Hi, I’m Matt, and I’m proud to be the face of NIVEK. With over 14 years of experience in the surveying industry, my journey has been driven by passion, hard work, and a commitment to helping people make informed, confident property decisions. I specialise in residential property surveys and have worked extensively across a range of property types, from modern homes to historic buildings, always aiming to provide insights that clients can trust.

My Journey: From Corporate Leadership to Independent Expertise

My career in surveying began with a Diploma in Surveying Practice, a stepping-stone that deepened my understanding of property assessment and set me on a professional path I truly enjoy. I went on to achieve my AssocRICS qualification in 2015, a milestone that further solidified my expertise and commitment to the highest standards set by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Over the years, I’ve held senior leadership positions within some of the UK’s leading corporate surveying firms. In these roles, I gained valuable experience, honed my skills, and learned the ins and outs of the industry. However, despite the success, I realised my passion lay in delivering a more personal and tailored service—something I could achieve more effectively by going independent.

That’s when I decided to establish NIVEK Surveying Services. My vision was clear: to offer top-quality property surveys with a focus on personal connection, local expertise, and genuine care for each client. Today, I’m fortunate to combine my love for property with the freedom to create a business rooted in service, integrity, and a client-first approach.

While I’m deeply passionate about surveying, there’s much more to my life than work. I’m a proud father of three amazing children, who keep me motivated and inspired every day. I’m hoping one day they might follow in my footsteps (yes, I’m trying to convince them to consider surveying!), but for now, I’m just enjoying every moment with them. They are the driving force behind everything I do, and their support fuels my dedication to making NIVEK a trustworthy and reliable service for all my clients.

When I’m not busy with work or family, you’ll often find me on the golf course, enjoying a round or two whenever I can. I also love connecting with other professionals and property businesses.
